Angela Lee Hanaway

On June 10, 2008, an unknown female's partially clothed, badly decomposed body was located in the Mad River, near the 2300 block of Dayton Rd. About a quarter mile west of the U.S. Route 68 overpass. She was found floating in the water. Dental and medical records were used to determine her identity. Angela Lee Hanaway, 35, a Shawnee graduate and loving mother of three daughters. According to the autopsy she died a very violent death and she had been in the water for some time.
